Differences in heat consumption between common heating systems for industrial halls PDF 51.8 MB

Abstract...

Different ways of heating in industrial halls are compared with respect to the energy consumption. On the basis of a mathematical simulation the author comes to the conclusion that an application of radiating heaters in industrial hall with normal ventilating rate does not save as much energy as often presented.

External shell of building as a low-temperature energy source PDF 51.8 MB

Abstract...

Heat loss of a building can be partly utilised as energy source for a heat pump. This becomes more effective in the case of transparent building insulation which can take advantage of external heat gains (solar radiation).

Energy demand and operation of large-scale electrical floor heating systems PDF 51.8 MB

Abstract...

A summary of experimental research on power demands of storage, semi-storage and direct floor heating is presented. There are results for buildings finished before 1980 (RN = 0,5 niK/W), after 1980 (RN = 1 m2 K/W) and those built after 1992 (RN = 2 m2 K/W).

Mathematical simulation of the dynamics of electric floor heating system PDF 51.8 MB

Abstract...

The paper deals with simulation of large-surface radiation heating applied to an electric floor heating system. The simulation results are compared with experimental data measured on a model of a floor heating panel. The dynamics of heating-up and cooling-down has been analysed on the basis of the experimentally obtained data. A good agreement between the experimental and simulation results entitles the simulation model to be used for another heating floor structure.

The effect of temperature and humidity conditions on man PDF 51.8 MB

Abstract...

The relations between human metabolism and microclimatic parameters in buildings are mentioned. Some changes are expected in the methodology of evaluation of the parameters with respect to their influence on the indoor environment. The paper informs about recommended values which are being prepared for these parameters.

Direct and indirect cooling, cool storage PDF 51.8 MB

Abstract...

The paper deals with cooling in air-conditioning applications, particularly with cool storage in ice accretion. The feasible applications described in the text are illustrated on schematic figures.
