The paper evaluates the function of another 10 equipment types designed for increasing the air cleanlíness and for improving the environment comfort in rooms. Under the same and mutually comparable experimental condítíons the antidusty effectivítíes of these air-cleaners were determined. Their volumetric air-f1ows (air outputs), noise levels and in some cases ozone and líght negative ions concentrations in atmosphere were also measured.

The author reacts to discussion caused by his original article. He also deals with optimum conception of the heat supply there, where steam is the primary heat carrier.

The function of thermostatic valves for heaters (TRV) is explained in the article. Also basic technical concepts and the rules for TRV correct sizing, with respect to throttling range of their proportional function, are defined. Energy saving reached in multiapartment house by correctly sized thermostatic valves are also presented.

The article states that besides the combustion processes, representing the main source of nitrogen oxides, and other production activities [1] the entirely common electrical appliances in which some types of electric discharges occur are also generators of these undesirable gases. Such appliances can be met nowadays at the majority of workplaces.

The article presents to readers the overview of the latest single and multiple glazing including their light and thermal­technicse properties with concentration on the overa/l coefficient of heat transfer k. Comparison of individual properti­es, namely the thermal, acoustic, Iight and mechanical ones defines the range of applicability for structural members of residential and civil buildings.

The article dealswith comparison of emission Jímizs of the main pollutants with fuel combustion and fhermal disposal of wasteaccording to Legal Regulations vaJíd in the Czech Repiblic, Federal Republic of Germany and Great Britain, and to Recommendations according to Regulation of EU for these sources of pollution. Furher the emission Jímits generally valid for the characteristic groups of compounds according to German Regulation TAL are indicated and there is stated their approximate agreement with analogous emission limits valid in the Czech Republic.
