Equithermal control of heating coils PDF 50.8 MB

Abstract...

A simplified method is presented for the calculation of end temperatures of water and air in heating fin coils. Heat transfer area is supposed to be given larger than it would correspond with the coU rated pertormance. The overestimate coefficient p is defined by eq. (17) as a relative surplus of heat output. Required inlet and attained outlet temperatures of water and air depending on p-factor are presented in two attached examples.

Exhaustion and gas separation in a system of glass lurnaces - Part 1 PDF 50.8 MB

Abstract...

A concept of emissions exhaustion and separation in the glass works Czech Crystal in Chlum u Třeboně is presented. An exhaust system was designed with respect to the requirements of variable technology modes and successfully put into operation. The problems of concentration measurements and evaluation of separating devices in the glass work under operating conditions will be described in the second part of the paper (VVI 3/98) including the principles of a continuously measuring system.
