Vibration Isolation of Machines PDF 1024 kB

Abstract...

The author is concerned with the design of flexible placing and the explanation of resonance effects in a flexible element of one-mass and two-mass placing machines on the basis of theoretical analyses and practical experiences. He highlights problems regarding rotational machines placed flexibly due to high excitation frequencies to be used for significantly lower excitation frequencies. He points out of the necessity of cooperation between the designer of the machine flexible placing and the building safety engineer in cases of light construction structures of floors and ceilings.

Methods for Designing WSW Storage Tank – Part 1 PDF 750 kB

Abstract...

The author describes methods of calculation for the size (volume) of storage tanks regarding the central heating of WSW (Warm ServiceWater) in three different methods and approaches to the said problem. The author counts to summarize the problem in three independent parts due to the fact that it relates to the complex problem closely connected with a building specific energy demand, which is exceeding the contents of one article. The second part is to be dedicated to other methods of the design, particularly to the design pursuant to the standard ČSN EN 15316–3. The author shall evaluate results of calculations with specified methods and shall compare the appropriateness of their use for the application as to the family house and the apartment dwelling house in the third part.

Implementation, Tests and Measurements of Equipments for Environmental Engineering

Abstract...

The author expresses his opinion of the existing situation concerning the level of the quality control of deliveries and installations particularly as concerns equipments of environmental engineering and their observations both during the construction and at the termination at the equipment commissioning, in his article. He points out to the insufficient state of quality in this area specifying the most often occurring defects of the work and specifies the usability of specific standardized documents or any other referential documents as to the described subject, at the same time. He shows a possible content of the control sheet that is related to the air handling equipment, in the practical example.
