The article deals with effect of the plate prealigned with panel radiators on their heating capacity. It presents the experimentally determined values of correction coefficients of radiators heating capacity under application of enclosure in the form of different furnishings arranged in front of panel radiators.

The author draws attention to problems of coupling the cogeneration unit with power network and heat extractions. The differentiation between parallel operation with power network and island operation and indicated problems ofmutual transitions are very valuables.

The possibilities of transparent thermal insulations use in solar collecors are described. Author compares energy savings of different types of transparent insulations used on collectors produced by Czech firm EKOSOLARIS a.s.. Computer programmes KOLEKTOR and PROVOZ_SK are used for all-year energy savings evaluation. These programmes are based on Reference Year Climate Data for Prague region and were corrected according to real measured results in open Solar Laboratory at Department of Environmental Engineering, CTU Prague. The results confirmthat transparent insulation of honeycomb structure applied at usual non-selective absorber is rather more efficient than single-glazed higly selective absorber.

The article describes the new marking of nominal diameters and the dimensioning of sewage main drains and sewage drain connections. There is indicated a detailed description of dimensioning the sewage main drains under utilization of branch pipes with angle of 88.5°, the dimensioning of the ventilated and non-ventilated plastic sewage main drains DN/OD 125 and broken up sewage drain connection. The contribution thematically continues the article [1] in VVI 5/2000.

The author deals with possibilities of communication regulation systems. Their classification is indicated and their possibilities for technical security of buildings are stated.

The article gives a commentary on basic changes in legislation included in the „Public health protection“ law No. 258/2000 Coll. and linking up decree of the government No. 502/2000 Coll. on „Health protection against unfavorable effects of noise and vibrations“, valid in the Czech Republic since 1. 1. 2001. The article indicates the newly used quantities when evaluating the noise and at the same time it compares the noise limits determined according to new regulations with limits according to old ones.

The author pays attention to possible danger for health due to contaminate air-conditioning. She gives survey of diseases connected with the bad quality of the indoor air caused by missing of regular cleaning of ventilation system. She informs about methods which can be applyed for cleaning of air-conditioning).

A WHO Working Group was convened ro agree on a set of statements on „The right to healthy indoor air“, derived from fundamental principles in the fields of human rights, biomedical ethics and ecological sustainability. These statements inform the individuals and groups responsible for healthy indoor air about their rights and obligations.
